Last 16th November 2020 on the Occasion of the Feast of the Saints and Blessed of the Order of the Friar Servants of Mary, Friars Peter Van Ma. Nguyen, OSM, Arnel Ma. Cauba, OSM, Michael Gem Ma. Dela Cruz, OSM and Rey Ma. Regunda,OSM., took their Solemn Profession of the Vows of Chastity, Poverty and Obedience.
Solemn profession is a public act which consecrates the friar to the service of God and His people in the perfect following of Christ and, in the way of the Servites, drawing abiding inspiration from our Lady, Mother and Servant of the Lord (cf. OSM const, 1). From then on, the solemn professed friar lives for life toward the fullness of charity through the observance of the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience in accordance with the Constitutions of the Order of the Friar Servants of Mary. With the solemn profession, the friar is definitively received into the Order and fully assumes its life and responsibility.
The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by the Vicar Provincial of the St. Peregrine Philippine Vicariate, Rev. Fr. Deogracias Ma. Alejandria, OSM and at the same time received the Solemn Profession of the friars representing the Prior General of the Order of the Servants of Mary, Rev. Fr. Gottfried Ma. Wolff, OSM.
